The Princelet Street project involved the renovation of a group of mixed-use buildings which now provide workshop units for small businesses.

In 1982 numbers 31-37 Princelet Street were acquired as part of a four block property package and divided between the SSBA and its sister housing co-operative. Work on the project did not, however, begin until five years later because of funding difficulties. The buildings now form eight workshops and three retail units.
